Activities for WW2 Day are interactive, educational, and cover:

a. Displays of Military history from historical eras that have affected our community: 1812, 1861, 1942, present day b. Presentation of current law enforcement tools c. Authentic uniforms, mess tent, other front line accouterments, and educational specialists d. USO style entertainment of music, performance, dance, comedy e. Booths of community resources for veterans, youth, and families f. Panel of veterans and home front heroes and heroines to tell their stories while we make a recording of their memories for the Library of Congress Veterans Living History Project g. Food and other goods provided by community organizations and vendors h. Electronic game competition featuring WWII |
