WWII Day - September 8, 2012:
The Circle of Angels wants to promote reenacting to educate the public about history.  We have found that mentoring happens naturally when people are having fun.  Held at the Calvert County Fairgrounds on September 8, 2012, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the WWII Memorial will feature a drill, displays, music, food, and a variety of activities.

Our future goal is to schedule encampments in our area and to bring back a popular WWII reenactment event.  If you would like more information about reenacting, visit www.wereenact.net

USO Night - Every first Friday in August:
WWII USO Remembrance Day.  6p to 9p at the Solomons, MD boardwalk pavilion.  Live and original music from the era.  Dance.  Donuts and coffee.  Wreath laying ceremony.  This family-friendly, free summer evening event is to honor those who served in WWII as well as other periods.  We believe it is important to educate the public, especially our youth, about the significance of WWII to our history.  We also want to honor all those who served and are serving our country in uniform and as home front heroes and heroines.
